Since the infamous Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, America has spiraled into a moral abyss where, conservatively, over 63 million unborn children have been brutally snuffed out in the womb.
Conservatives, styling themselves as the “defenders” of the unborn, offer paltry consolation to these silent victims, waving around statistics that suggest abortion rates are somehow declining. This narrative is nothing but a cloak for inaction and cowardice. In fact, recent data reveals that the abortion rate in the US is now higher than it was prior to Roe v. Wade: The Guttmacher Institute reports that under our current anti-natalist policies, nearly 1 in 5 pregnancies ends in abortion. Far from being this great era of “pro-life” victory, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported over 930,000 abortions in 2020 alone.
It is a staggering figure to consider as many states look to codify this grotesque practice into their laws in the coming election, including my home state of Florida. More so than this, it is a figure which encapsulates the systemic failure of a society to protect the most vulnerable amongst us. It is imperative that those who cherish life realize these numbers are not just a statistic but lives extinguished, futures forever unfulfilled. The pressing need to vote against such political endeavors is one of the many reasons I have chosen to address this issue at this time, and the war on the unborn has certainly advanced in alarming ways in recent months and years.
Fueling this crisis is an administration openly hostile to the unborn. Not content to merely mock those who hold such beliefs, the Biden regime has been one of the key architects of anti-life aggression, labeling pro-life advocates and peaceful abolitionists as potential terrorists. Under the guise of protecting rights (except the baby’s of course), the DOJ has vigorously targeted the defenders of life, prosecuting them under the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. The Department of Justice has repeatedly embarked on investigations into pro-life organizations in the last four years, often ignoring the violence and intimidation directed toward these groups from radical anti-natalist factions (emphasis mine):
Ninety-seven percent of all prosecutions based on the [FACE] Act since its enactment in 1994 have been against pro-lifers on behalf of the abortion industry, according to a new analysis, with 24 percent of them having been undertaken in just the four years of the Biden administration.
The FACE Act ostensibly protects abortion facilities, pro-life pregnancy centers, and churches alike from protesters blocking access to them, but the Daily Caller reports that, according to data provided by U.S. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), between 1994 and 2024 there were 205 FACE Act prosecutions against abortion opponents and just six against abortion defenders. At least 55 of the pro-abortion prosecutions occurred during President Joe Biden’s tenure, and five of the six against pro-abortion obstructions.
Further, the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) is using the 1870 Conspiracy Against Rights law, which applies to two or more people “conspir[ing] to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate” others exercising their rights, to add additional charges to such prosecutions, increasing their jail time by as much as a decade – such as with the case of 75-year-old Paulette Harlow, who was sentenced to 24 months in prison for allegedly violating both laws while protesting at a Washington, D.C. abortion facility in 2020. Lauren Handy was sentenced to four years for the same. Harlow and Handy were two of nine peaceful pro-lifers sentenced recently in the nation’s capital for FACE Act violations…
— Biden admin responsible for almost 25% of all FACE Act prosecutions since 1994: report
It is almost quaint at this point to compare the heavy-handed treatment of these righteous protestors to Regime approved protests, such as climate protestors, were it not so dire of an issue. At this rate, we are not far off from the draconian regulations seen in the UK, having criminalized the anti-social act of… silently praying outside of a child sacrifice facility. In a particularly outrageous incident at Fort Liberty, NC, Army training materials shockingly categorized pro-life groups as potential terrorist threats alongside groups like ISIS.
As we confront this reality, it is vital to recognize that the defense of the unborn is not merely a political stance — it is a Biblical and moral imperative.
“I think the six week [abortion ban] is too short. It has to be more time, … I want more weeks.”
— President Donald J. Trump. August 29th, 2024
Let us strip away the pretense, rhetoric, and the false piety that strangles the “pro-life” movement in the noose of pragmatism. What is pragmatism but compromise under a polished guise? And what, I ask, is more repugnant than to parley with those who decree slaughter, whose very legislation writes death warrants for the unborn — albeit, less so? Pragmatism within the ranks of those who claim to champion life has secured only one thing: the solidifying of unjust laws, the searing of consciences, and a willing surrender to those who despise truth and righteousness. How easily do they bow to Man’s reason, like sheep willingly grazing upon poisoned grass!
Let us turn to the Scriptures to demonstrate the folly of such “wisdom,” as it were. Psalm 139 offers a view into the mind of God, who watches over every human from conception, fashioning each soul with intentionality (emphasis mine):
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
— Psalm 139:13-16 KJV
The womb is not a place of “potential life” nor the cradle of “potential personhood”, but the sanctuary where the Creator Himself knits us together. Do we dare look upon this process, so meticulously undertaken by the Almighty, and pronounce it inconsequential? That a human at 15 or 20 weeks is of more value than one mere weeks old? For all the bloviating about “trusting The Science” in recent years, “The Science” is abundantly clear that at the moment of conception a unique being with its own genes is created - a human life by any other name.
Additionally, we see The LORD’s own heart towards children in Matthew’s Gospel account (emphasis mine):
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
— The Gospel of Matthew 18:3-6 KJV
Herein lies the crux of the matter, for if the corruption of children’s minds is such a grave offense, how does any reasoning that allows for compromise in the defense of their lives not call down judgment upon itself? Shall we seriously say then that the “lesser evil” approach of today’s pro-life politicians pleases the God seen in these verses? (Which of course is still an open admission that such compromises are indeed evil!) Nay, it mocks Him, equating political incrementalism with righteous judgment.
— The massacre of the innocents (Matthew 2:16), ill. by Gustave Doré.
The Lord is not ambivalent to our half-century long transgression against Him (emphasis mine):
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
— The Book of Proverbs 6:16-19 KJV
Given the clear Scriptural witness on the value of humans as image bearers of God, how can it be argued that abortion is anything less than the shedding of innocent blood? Proverbs does not equivocate — neither should we. If the pro-life movement would root itself in these Biblical truths it would not merely advocate for incremental gains, it would demand nothing less than full justice for our unborn neighbors — up to and including the death penalty for those who take an innocent life.
Consider the Law’s severity against those who harmed the unborn (emphasis mine):
22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
— The Book of Exodus 21:22-25 KJV
That phrase “her fruit depart from her” is a Hebrew euphemism for premature birth, not miscarriage as some translations erroneously render it. When harm befell an unborn child, the crime was treated the same as harm to an adult. The Word is clear: the unborn child who is wounded or killed in utero is as much a human worthy of justice as his born neighbor. For any laws against murder to be grounded in a Biblical standard of justice, the life of the unborn must be measured by that standard: life for life. Where then does the Scripture give any license whatsoever for these alleged “Christian” legislators or leaders to dilute justice in the name of political expediency?
Naturally, when such discussions are had, the narrative of Jesus and the woman caught in adultery (John 8:1-11) is often misappropriated towards this end to argue that Christ somehow nullified the death penalty for the very Laws He instituted. The Levitical Law, specifically Leviticus 20:10, prescribes the death penalty for both the adulterer and adulteress. However, the accusers brought only the woman to Jesus, exposing their hypocrisy and undermining any true justice. By excluding the male offender, they employed unjust weights and measures, seeking to trap Jesus rather than uphold the Law.
In Proverbs 11:1, we find an indictment of such underhanded tactics: “A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.” Yet, what balance can there be in the double-minded rhetoric of those who champion life yet shrink from demanding justice when it is taken? God’s commands are not a buffet from which the faint-hearted may pick and choose; and it is precisely such perverse “logic” that has led to the mass slaughter of infants on American shores. There can be no nuance for the sake of palatability on this matter: the unborn — fashioned by the hand of God — are owed protection, and their murderers deserve the full penalty of the law.
In this understandably heated discussion, emotional appeals to victims of rape and incest are frequently made (this despite ~1.5% abortions being due to these causes). However, we cannot condone the murder of innocents simply because they are the product of admittedly grievous crimes. Those who commit such offenses should face a swift and speedy execution, after a fair trial of course — not their child. We can not respond to the crime of rape and incest with the crime of abortion. Punishing the innocent for the sins of the guilty only compounds the evil being done, as horrific as such circumstances are. Reforms and changes certainly must be made to how the States deal with orphans, but such shortcomings do not therefore justify murder.
Isaiah echoes The LORD’s fiery rebuke against law-makers who codify sin (emphasis mine):
1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
— The Book of Isaiah 10:1-2 KJV
What wretched irony that those who claim to “preserve life” have abandoned the wisdom of these verses. The unwillingness to call abortion what it is — murder punishable by death — can only ever lay the groundwork for its normalization. “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” (Ecclesiastes 8:11) If the so-called “leaders” of the pro-life movement want to identify who to blame for our culture’s embrace of death, they need only look in the mirror.
By tolerating “lesser evils” we cultivate the seeds of far greater depravities.
“My Administration will be great for women and their reproductive rights.”
— President Donald J. Trump. August 23rd, 2024
In better days, the massacre of 63 million innocents will be seen as the tragedy that it is, and history will look back upon us in horror: a black mark seared onto the conscience of a nation that claims to stand for life, liberty, and justice.
Behold the bitter irony — we are told by our “Christian” leaders to support Donald Trump, a leader who doublemindedly proclaims his pro-life accolades whilst enabling policies that betray the unborn. Trump may boast of his role in overturning Roe v. Wade, yet when it comes to the defense of the unborn, he preaches only what is politically convenient to him. Roe may be gone, but under Trump’s rule, abortion continues unfettered in vast swathes of the nation — and with his blessing no less! In fact, this is a man who declared that Florida’s six-week abortion ban was “too harsh” when, if anything, its not harsh enough! And that is before we even address the greatest anti-natalist injection campaign in human history: Operation Warp Speed and its targeting of our children, evidence which I have obtained first hand.
What’s even more damning is that Trump’s stance on abortion under a national 16-week limit would still permit the slaughter of countless innocents. Nearly 93% of abortions occur before 13 weeks, meaning that by Trump’s metrics, abortion would still persist for the vast majority of cases. This “pro-life” rhetoric of his does little more than placate voters, all the while largely allowing what they claim to oppose. Is 7% really worth the price of sullying your conscience by supporting a man who would champion such barbarity?
Worse still, abortion rates have surged in the States since Dobbs, largely due to Trump’s ambivalence on regulating interstate procedures and abortion pills (one of the leading abortion drugs, of course, was created by a subsidiary of Pfizer). These factors have contributed to an environment in which abortion thrives under a false guise of “choice,” while countless Christians, blinded by their misplaced loyalty, ignore this glaring truth. Under Trump, abortion remains legal and rampant, kept alive by a man who would rather protect his political lineage than the lives of the unborn.
— The Hill to Die On, digital art, 2024.
In any fair assessment, Trump’s policies make a mockery of the pro-life cause, reducing it to an empty political talking point. JD Vance has stated that Trump is categorically against a federal abortion ban and would veto one were it to pass. Given Trump’s active criticism of even watered down pro-life laws, his approach is not just inadequate — it is treasonous to the defense of the unborn. To support this man is to actively undermine the pro-life cause, not bolster it.
Only in an age of moral bankruptcy can we imagine such idiocy, where aiming to reduce murder by bare percentage points is lauded as “better than nothing,” as if the defense of life can be pragmatically reduced to an “incremental” struggle. In a perfect vacuum — devoid of morality, truth, and the value of life — we might entertain the logic of 7% or 50% fewer abortions being a victory worth celebrating. But in actual reality, where we sign off on policies that still permit the slaughter of the innocent, this argument collapses under its own absurdity. To endorse “pro-life” bills that still legitimize abortion up to a point or with exceptions is to make a mockery of the movement’s very moniker.
Anything less than the total eradication of abortion isn’t just a failure — it is a betrayal of our unborn neighbor.
If those who value the unborn are serious about eliminating this societal blight, we must recognize abortion for what it truly is — the unjust killing of a human being, punishable by death.
"2 Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4 And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
5 Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.”
— The Book of Leviticus 20:2-5 KJV

Spot on Scipio. I literally covered this on my podcast today... Cal Zastro, a fellow brother in Christ, was recently sentenced to 6 months in federal prison because of the FACE Act. Cal participated in a sit-in/rescue at Carafem Health Center in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. They read from their bibles, sang hymns, and in some cases blocked access to some of the doors. When a police officer came to remove them, they peacefully complied and left. That wasn't enough for these Moloch worshippers.
Zastrow, considered one of the organizers, faced eleven years in prison for his part, but was ultimately sentenced to six months in federal prison and three years of supervised release. It is our duty to do what Cal did, and peacefully share the love of Jesus with those running towards death.
