The primary means of spellcraft throughout the ages has been one that harnesses the base materials of life, evoking their supposed spiritual energies towards the will of the invoker. These physical tools — whether it be the wand or the ward, the sigil or the seal, the poison or the potion — it is through these tools that real and spiritual changes have been made upon our material realm.
