Peter / Paul - yes killed by the govt in service to the true King - they meant what they said - and ALL scripture is given by inspiration from God and is profitable for teaching. They not only preached it - they lived it unto the end because they knew where their treasure was - no where in the Bible are we guaranteed or promised freedom - rather tribulation and sorrow in this broken world.

true freedom is not fighting a government or an earthly power - but in Christ alone / in faith in God no matter the circumstance as He uses it to His glory - not ours - not our freedom that matters but His Gospel and His kingdom. All else is fleeting. Be a Joesph / Daniel / John / Paul - no matter where or what circumstance God places you in - He has a purpose and it should be to glorify Him through obedience.
