The Israel-Iran dance macabre continues, as Washington tiptoes ever closer to outright war — though, in reality, the U.S. has already stumbled halfway onto the dancefloor through the massive military aid funneled straight to Israel’s frontline. And if reports are accurate, this support has become even more direct, with the U.S. military actively engaged in shooting down Iranian missiles aimed at Israel. As Trump waffles theatrically on a two-week timeline (where have I heard that before), Tehran has made clear it won't be parleying at gunpoint. If so, America’s entry is a fait accompli. All the while, poll after poll screams that Americans — Republicans and Democrats alike — have no stomach for another Middle Eastern quagmire.

Instead, he continues to heap praise upon one of the most nakedly compromised politicians in America. Whether Tucker’s turn against the patently obvious Israeli influence over our politics is legitimate or not, and despite my skepticism of him, his interview of Senator Cruz illuminated several vital subjects I routinely address here. If nothing else, it’s always enjoyable to see know nothing toadies for a murderous apartheid state be publicly defenestrated.
Without further ado, let’s dive into the stories shaping the week that was…
