I'm very pleased to make your acquaintance Crush! I started reading North's newsletter, Remnant Review, in the 70s shortly after he began publication (I'm now 75 - boy do I feel dated). Then started reading the "Chalcedon Report" newsletter his father-in-law and brilliant scholar, Rousas John Rushdoony, published. I also read every issue of their monthly publication "The Journal of Christian Reconstruction" I could get my hands on. From there I also read other scholars associated with Christian Reconstruction and later with Dominion Press. Particularly noteworthy is James Jordan's works who, in my estimation, is a brilliant and inspired genius of a theologian.
I had an occasion to briefly meet Gary North in the early 80s when we were on a cross-country trip. I timed the trip to be in Tyler TX on Sunday so we could attend worship at the church where Gary and James Jordan attended. As I remember, Gary was a tall portly gentleman with a quite demeanor. Oddly, when he entered the sanctuary of the church, I noticed the small children in the congregation would flock to him as if he was a grandfather figure though I am sure a few of them were his own. Children and dogs - they can always sense a kind spirit.
Oh for the days before the internet when everything was a newsletter in the mail or a real book. Oddly, you are the first one I've met who is likewise a follower of North's works. But then again, I don't get out a lot - lol.
What is this ending song credit? I wanna show it to my wannabe FM hardcore rocker neighbor. lol.
